Before installation day

What to have ready, and what happens.

How long does installation take, and does someone need to be there?

About 5 to 10 minutes, or 20 to 30 minutes if we connect the machine to a water line. Someone from your office needs to let us in, and we like to install on a busy day so we can show as many of your team as possible how it works.

We’re moving into a new office. Can the coffee be ready on day one?

Yes. For a new office build-out we usually install the week before your first day, so the coffee is ready when your team arrives.

Do the JURA machines need a water line?

No. The JURA X10 and GIGA X8 each have a 5-liter water tank, enough for about 40 to 50 cups before it needs a refill.

What do we need ready before install day?

Two feet of available counter space, a free power outlet and a team that’s excited for better coffee!

The free trial

Two weeks in your office, with no commitment.

How soon can a free trial start?

Usually within a week of our first call, depending on which machines we have in stock.

Do we have to sign anything to start the free trial?

No. The trial is completely risk-free, with no agreement and no commitment of any kind. Most building security teams ask for a certificate of insurance (COI) before we install, so you would send us a sample COI to pass on.

What happens if we don’t continue after the two weeks?

We collect the machine, and you owe us nothing at all.

Day to day

Daily operations.

Do you provide the milk, and can we use oat or almond milk?

Your office provides the milk since most offices already have milk ordering in place. Our milk fridge holds up to two types, and any milk works. Barista-style oat milk is the most popular choice right now.

Can the machines make hot water for tea, or hot chocolate?

Yes to hot water for tea, although a dedicated hot water dispenser gives a stronger pour if your office already has one. Our machines never use powders, which are lower quality, harder to keep clean and less hygienic. For hot chocolate, the machine froths real milk and you stir in your own chocolate powder.

Who do we contact day to day?

Your assigned technician is your primary contact for machine or servicing matters. Walter is the best contact for billing or admin questions. There’s no customer service line and no waiting on hold.

What happens when our office closes for holidays?

Just let us know when you’ll be closed, and we’ll adjust your service visits around it.

As your office changes

Growing, moving or spreading across floors.

Can we switch machines or add a second one as we grow?

Yes, and offices do that all the time. You can move from the JURA X10 to the GIGA X8, add a second machine, or move to a smaller machine if that suits you better.

What happens if our office moves to a new building?

Your movers can pack up and move our equipment, or we can move it for you and set it up in the new space at no additional charge.

Can one account cover several floors or offices?

Yes, one account covers every floor of your office. If your company also has offices in other cities, each city is looked after by its own local team.

The best answer is a cup in your own office.
