All the classics your office machine makes.
Espresso to latte macchiato, each one at the touch of a button on a JURA bean-to-cup machine. What’s in every drink, and how a flat white differs from a latte.
Black coffee
Three ways to drink it without milk, all from the same freshly ground beans.
Coffee
The everyday cup: a longer extraction from the same fresh beans.
Espresso
A single short shot of concentrated coffee under a layer of crema.
Americano
An espresso topped up with hot water after the shot, so the crema stays on top.
Milk drinks
Real milk, never powdered, steamed and frothed by the machine for each drink. The difference is how much, and how it’s textured.
Cappuccino
The classic balance: a third coffee, a third steamed milk, a third dense foam.
Latte macchiato
Milk and foam go in first, then the shot is poured through, leaving visible layers.
Flat white
A shot under a thin, glossy layer of steamed milk. Milkier than a cortado, flatter than a latte.
Caffè latte
A generous pour of steamed milk over a shot, finished with a light cap of foam.
Cortado
Espresso cut with an equal measure of warm milk. Small, strong and smooth.
Extras
Or skip the coffee: steamed milk, milk foam, or hot water at a touch.
Portion of milk
Hot milk on its own. Stir in your own chocolate powder for a real-milk hot chocolate.
Milk foam
Just foam, for topping a drink or a tea.
Hot water
For tea, straight from the machine.
Two kinds of cold brew, and they’re not the same thing
On tap
Either a countertop unit that uses 3-gallon bag-in-box packs, or a kegerator with 15.5-gallon kegs for higher volume.
Coffee drink questions, answered
Does anyone in the office need training to make these?
No. Every drink is one touch: the machine grinds the beans, brews the shot and textures the milk itself. There’s nothing for your team to learn or measure.
Do the machines use real milk or powdered?
Real milk, always. Drawn from the cooler beside the machine for every latte and cappuccino. Never the powdered creamer that vending-style office machines rely on.
