Classic or nitro
Two kinds of cold brew.
Cold brew is steeped cold for hours instead of brewed hot, so it pours smoother and less acidic than iced coffee. Our cold brew is served in two ways.
Classic cold brew
Smooth, bold and full-bodied. Served chilled straight from the tap, or over ice.
TasteA blend of Brazilian and Honduran coffees with notes of orange and brown sugar
Serve itStraight, over ice, or with a splash of milk
Nitro cold brew
The same cold brew infused with nitrogen as it pours, for a cascading pour and a naturally creamy texture.
TextureVelvety and creamy, with a foam head like a draft stout
Serve itBlack, no ice. Most people skip the milk and sugar
Cold brew vs iced coffee
Why cold brew tastes smoother than iced coffee.
It comes down to heat. Brewing coffee hot pulls out more of the bitter, acidic compounds, and pouring it over ice waters it down.
Iced coffee
Brewed hot, then cooled or poured over ice.
Quick to make, but often bitter and diluted once the ice melts.
Cold brew
Steeped cold for many hours, never heated.
Naturally smoother, bolder and less acidic, and it holds its flavor over ice.
Add cold brew to your office coffee service.
Cold brew on tap compliments our JURA machines nicely, so your team gets espresso drinks in the morning and cold brew all afternoon.
What is nitro cold brew?
Nitro cold brew is cold brew coffee infused with nitrogen as it pours. It comes out with a cascading pour and a naturally creamy, velvety texture, so many people drink it black without milk or sugar.
What is the difference between classic and nitro cold brew?
Classic cold brew is smooth and bold, served chilled straight from the tap or over ice. Nitro is the same cold brew with a nitrogen-infused pour for a creamier texture.
How many servings are in a box or a keg?
A three-gallon bag-in-box pours roughly 48 eight-ounce servings, and a 15.5-gallon keg about 248, or more when served over ice.
Does a cold brew countertop unit or kegerator need plumbing or a nitrogen tank?
No. The countertop unit and kegerator are self-contained so there is no water line and no gas tank in your office. The nitrogen tank is only used in the kegerator.
How much counter space is needed for the countertop unit?
It is a compact countertop unit made for standard break room counters and it only needs a power outlet nearby.
Can we add cold brew to our office coffee service?
Yes. Cold brew on tap pairs seemlessly with a JURA bean-to-cup machine.
